BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, Feb. 7, 2013  SuccessEHS, a leading health information technology vendor, today announced that the company has doubled in size since January 2011. The Birmingham-based company hired 165 new employees in 2011 and nearly 130 new employees in 2012, and expects this growth to continue. Currently, SuccessEHS has 15 job openings across a number of departments, including database administration, implementation, interoperability, customer support, revenue cycle management (RCM), sales and more.

SuccessEHS also invests in the career growth of young professionals in Birmingham through its internship program. The company had more than 20 interns in 2012, and has hired a number of interns as full-time employees.

Future hiring will support the growth of SuccessEHS’s rapidly expanding RCM business, as well as the continued improvement of SuccessEHS’s software solutions and supporting services designed to help clients improve care and increase revenue. SuccessEHS currently serves clients across 47 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico with electronic health record (EHR) and medical practice management solutions, RCM services, dental software and dental imaging solutions.

According to a 2012 report from On Numbers, private-sector employment in Birmingham increased by slightly less than 1 percent between September 2011 and September 2012.
