CARROLLTON, Georgia, June 30, 2017 — Greenway Health named a top Atlanta workplace for the second year in a row.

What does it take to be recognized as a great place to work? 

According to Greenway Health, it takes a focus on success — their customers’ and their employees’ — and lots of support for both.

The healthcare technology company should know. For the second year, Greenway has been named one of Atlanta’s Top Workplaces 2017. It’s among only a small number of healthcare companies to receive the distinction.

The award is the result of an independent annual survey completed by employees and conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, in partnership with The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Greenway has offices in Atlanta, as well as in other cities such as Carrollton, Georgia and Tampa, Florida.

Of the more than 2,500 companies nominated or asked to participate in the survey, only 150 were named Top Workplaces. A total of 60,000 workers responded to the surveys. Greenway Health is one of only 25 “large companies” that made the list, designating a company with 500 or more employees in metro Atlanta.

Joanna Russo, lead development representative at Greenway Health, agrees. “Within the first few months of being hired, my manager was already sitting down with me to help map out a path for my future. I’ve been continuously encouraged to generate and share ideas, and I’m able to do so in a supportive setting.”

The most common theme across winning companies was a focus on employee well-being. “Our company leaders truly care for their employees and their customers. The dedication of our teams is amazing,” said one anonymous Greenway survey respondent.

In addition to being named a 2016 Top Workplace, Greenway Health’s many other past recognitions include Software Magazine’s best IT places to work in 2015, an Atlanta Business Chronicle award in 2011, and the American Heart Association Gold-Level Fit Friendly Worksite recognition at both Tampa and Carrollton locations from 2014 to 2016.
