In today’s movement from volume to value, Greenway is expanding possibilities in care through customer-led improvements in technology, patient engagement, analytics, and practice workflows.

TAMPA, Florida, Nov. 8, 2017 — Greenway Health, a leading health information technology and services provider, today announced a milestone: All three of its electronic health record and practice management solutions have achieved 2015 ONC Health IT certification.

The certified editions of Prime Suite v18.00, Intergy v11.00 and SuccessEHS v9.0, certified in June, are now available to help customers succeed in value-based care programs such as the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Models.

But Greenway isn’t stopping there in its mission to expand possibilities in care.

In addition to meeting EHR certification requirements set by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT), the company is setting its own higher standards for helping ambulatory practices thrive in payment programs that reward quality and value over volume.

Over the past two years, Greenway has released an enhanced patient engagement platform, integrated care coordination services, and a population health platform.

“We’re turning our potential to improve lives — the lives of patients and their physicians alike — into a reality,” said Greenway Health CEO Scott Zimmerman.

Prime Suite v18.00 and Intergy v11.00 were tested by Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB), and both achieved applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the ONCHIT and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Eligible practices that use noncertified EHRs face a costly disadvantage in programs such as MIPS and may face up to 9% in penalties to their Medicare reimbursement in coming years.

“Greenway has certified three EHRs in an industry where other vendors haven’t certified one. That’s a testament to Greenway’s ability to focus on all our customers and their unique needs, and to follow through on the commitments we make.”
Mark Janiszewski, EVP product management, Greenway Health

Zimmerman said Greenway’s vision goes beyond certification, however. “Our goal is to help transform practices for the future, design solutions and services that work the way our customers do, and help physicians and their staff get back to why they fell in love with medicine in the first place.”

All three certified EHRs go further to deliver customer-requested enhancements and features that make them easier to use, which is helpful when earning payments and reimbursements under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).

“Greenway keeps improving its products. They’re never satisfied with the status quo. Every time they come out with a new version, there are updates to it that are a direct result of what customers have suggested. They’ve been around a long time, so you can trust that the enhancements Greenway makes will be supported throughout the lifetime of your practice.”
Michael Jordan, founder, East Lake Pediatrics

Greenway has announced that these certified solutions will serve as a foundation for Greenway’s most recent development investment — a convergence of Intergy, Prime Suite, and SuccessEHS into a single, state-of-the-art solution. The company has invested in research and development that gets to the heart of how physicians and practice staff work, so that the company’s technology and services are better aligned to help improve the clinician experience, reduce costs, boost outcomes, and thrive in value-based care.

For example, the recent release of Greenway Analytics, as part of Prime Suite v18.00, turns practice data into actionable information to give customers a more transparent view of their performance in incentive programs.

Additionally, Greenway Care Coordination Services, Greenway Patient Portal, and Greenway Patient Messaging — crucial tools for engaging with patients and keeping them healthier longer — have been enhanced to create a seamless approach to healthcare technology when combined with other Greenway solutions.

“Our technology and support help physicians not just adapt to industry changes, but realize the full potential of their practices,” Zimmerman said.
